Yellow book
This document issued to foreign nationals residing on a long-term basis in Thailand. It serves for the official registration of their identification and residential address in the country.
Obtaining the Yellow Book confirms the foreigner's legal status in Thailand.
This is an official document known as the "Certificate of Residence for Foreigners," which serves as a registry for the registration and identification of addresses for foreigners.

In 2020, new property taxes were introduced in Thailand. However, possessing a "yellow house book" can significantly reduce the property tax burden.
Any foreign citizen can obtain the "yellow" book, with the mandatory requirement being ownership of real estate in Thailand.
  1. Original passport (Certified translation).
  2. Translation into Thai language of the names of the father, mother, and nationality.
  3. Residence Certificate from the immigration office.
  4. Two witnesses above 25 years old + copies of their identification cards.
  5. Document confirming family relationships if family members are also to be included in the "yellow book" (Birth certificate or marriage/divorce certificate, with certified translation into Thai).
  6. 4 passport-sized photos (3x4 cm) with a straight face.
  7. Photos of the property inside and outside.
  8. Visit to the Department of Forensic Science for fingerprint scanning.

Documents for the property:

  • Title deed (Chanote).
  • Registered sales and purchase agreement.
  • House registration book (Blue book).

After you have all the necessary documentation, we will prepare a biographical data verification application for you.
With this application, you need to visit the Department of Forensic Science for fingerprint scanning.
The obtained fingerprints will be sent to Bangkok for verification. After the verification is completed, the results will be sent to the district where you submitted the application for the "yellow book." The timeframe for this process may vary, usually taking about 1 month or less.
